How it works

From your record to your case.

  1. 1

    Start with your record

Your profile and ImmiReport are free, and a professional you hire works from the same profile.

  2. 2

    Talk to the firm

Book a consultation with Immigratic, or ask it for a proposal. The services, their scope and their fees are the firm’s.

  3. 3

    Agree in writing

If you go ahead, you verify your identity, sign the firm’s agreement and pay the deposit it sets.

  4. 4

    Work in Case Studio

Your case opens with its documents, forms, messages and meetings, and a dated timeline.

Already have a representative?

Keep them. Send them your report.

Lexpoint works without a professional on the platform. Keep your record here and share it with the consultant or lawyer you already work with.

  • A read-only link to your ImmiReport, with a PIN and an expiry date
  • Switch the link off at any time; with Pro, see when it was opened
  • Export your profile or a résumé to send anywhere

Lexpoint does not contact your representative, and they cannot change anything in your account.

Questions

Questions about professional services.

No. Lexpoint is the platform. It does not give advice, represent you or file applications. A regulated professional you hire does, under the agreement you sign with them.

The professional, in their own agreement with you. Professional fees are not part of a Lexpoint plan, and ImmiReport Pro does not include or discount them. Government fees are separate again.

The professional who gives it, under their licence, their regulator’s rules and their agreement with you.

No. When you sign up, Lexpoint assigns a licensed firm to your account to handle your questions. Unless the link you signed up with named another firm, that is Immigratic, and it can view your ImmiReport and the profile behind it. You cannot remove or replace your assigned firm in Settings yet. That access does not make it your representative and does not commit you to anything. Only a written agreement you sign does.

No. You can work with any licensed consultant or lawyer, on Lexpoint or not, and send them a read-only link to your report. Other firms are not available on Lexpoint yet.

Immigration consultants are licensed by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants, which has a public register. Lawyers and Quebec notaries are licensed by their provincial law society or chamber.

Family members on your application can be on the same case. You can also add a delegate who follows one case, view only. A delegate cannot sign or pay.

Who provides what

The platform. Lexpoint Inc. provides the Lexpoint platform and its free educational tools, including ImmiReport and Lexi, and the ImmiReport Pro subscription. Lexpoint is not a law firm or an immigration consultancy. It does not give legal or immigration advice, does not provide immigration or legal services, does not represent you, and is not affiliated with the Government of Canada.

Professional services. Advice and representation are provided by regulated professionals, under their own terms and fees. Today one firm offers its services on Lexpoint: Immigratic, a firm of licensed immigration consultants. Its consultants are licensed by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants. Public register: register.college-ic.ca.

ImmiReport and Lexi work from what you enter and from published program rules. Their results are general information, not a decision on your case: the Government of Canada and the provinces decide every application. Prices are in Canadian dollars.
