How to improve your CRS score
Language proficiency
Improving from CLB 7 to CLB 9 in all skills can add 40-60+ points. This is often the fastest way to boost your score.
Education credential
Getting an ECA for a higher credential (e.g., Master's vs Bachelor's) can add 25-50 points depending on other factors.
Provincial nomination
A PNP nomination adds 600 points — virtually guaranteeing an ITA. Explore OINP, BCPNP, and other provincial streams.
French proficiency
Strong French skills (NCLC 7+) can add 25-50 additional points, plus you may qualify for French-language draws.
